As Halloween's about to come up in (less than!) two weeks, we're happy to share some of our favorite spooky designers here at Quick Jewelry Repairs! Whether it's their love for dark, gloomy gunmetal or some creepy crawly designs, each of these talented artists have earned themselves a spot on this list for “best Halloween jewelry designers.” Read more about them below!
1. Talon Jewelry
Founded by Emily Hirsch, Talon Jewelry is an awesome brand that focuses on pieces that define the wearer. From her zodiac pendants to her meaningful amulet designs, Hirsch takes symbolism to a shiny, glittery level. Recently, she's launched a whole collection of Venetian glass signet rings that incorporate antique and vintage motifs, including this gothic skull and rose. Talk about a classy yet spooky way to get prepared for Halloween!
2. Erica Molinari
Drawing extensive inspiration from antique memento mori jewelry and old school craftsmanship, Erica Molinari's designs give off an “updated” heirloom feel. She uses skulls, oxidized silver, and crossbones to create that mourning look, but adds a facelift to the pieces by incorporating a touch of solid gold and special finishes for a more modern texture. The result is vintage yet chic; a perfect way to feel that Halloween vibe whenever you want.
3. LSDJewellery
New Zealand-based jeweler LSDJewellery indulges your inner goth…to the point where it wouldn't be surprising if Amy Lee from Evanescence wore some of their pieces. They enjoy combining ethereal gems such as moonstone and labradorite with oxidized sterling silver to create a ghostly contrast between the flashing stones and the dark metal. Utilizing crescent moons, talons, and bones, you'll be set for the holidays with just one piece from their shop!
4. Omnia Studios
We. Love. Omnia. Studios. While the other brands we've mentioned draw inspiration from some spooky things, Omnia makes their aesthetic all about spooky. For them, Halloween is 24/7, 7 days a week, all year round. Just look at their designs; whether it's their seance/ouija board planchette pendant, or their fortune-teller ring, or their spider earrings, this is what they know and love best! They do everything from the general Gothic to tarot inspired pieces, and they use unconventional gems such as Gibson opal and aura quartz. Customization is even available upon request!
