The most common type of jewelry setting, prong settings consist of tiny pieces of metal that bend up and over the crystal or gemstone to keep it in place. These beautiful but delicate settings are susceptible to erosion and breaking, which dramatically increases the chance of losing a stone. Our prong rebuilding service adds metal to the site of the damaged prongs to effectively restore the original setting, ensuring your favorite piece is fit to wear for years to come!

“Quick Jewelry Repair is everything they say they are – and more. All of my communication with them has been professional, yet friendly and personable. But the best thing I can say about Quick Jewelry Repair is that they did an AMAZING job on my engagement ring! After 32 years the prongs were catching on things, a couple of them were noticeably crooked and the ring itself was no longer round because it molded itself to my finger. A local jeweler told me that each prong needed to be rebuilt and that the cost of doing that would be about $300/prong – for 6 prongs. I am SO HAPPY that I found QJR because my ring came back looking brand new! I wish I had a "before" picture to share, but I think the "after" picture really tells the story. I can highly recommend Quick Jewelry Repair – they're fabulous!”

“Quick Jewelry Repairs did an amazing job re-purposing my 1930’s era worn out platinum engagement ring. I found a used semi-mount and sent both both rings via their secure Fed Ex system. Ryan quickly answered all my questions; a new 14K 6 prong head was installed in the second hand ring, my heirloom diamond beautifully set and sent back to me earlier than predicted. I must admit i was a little nervous sending my precious items cross country to strangers I could only hope were honest but I needn’t have worried. Courteous, fast communication via Ryan, excellent craftsmanship and a secure shipping system made this a wonderful experience for me. My new-to-me ring is gorgeous!”

“Quick Jewelry Repair are amazing!I have tiny wrists, and i have avoided or returned so many stunning pieces due to the hassle and potential cost of shortening the length. Bad reviews, crazy fees, long waits…i was scared! I stumbled across the QJR yelp page and i was in – and what a convenient location in flatiron adjacent to so many trains and USQ.Now to the business….Ara is a rockstar. He is very nice and quickly available, and he is sharp and understands what you are trying to achieve and how to accomplish it, as well as proposing decent and very reasonable prices, unlike scammers elsewhere! I had 2 different gemstone bracelets that simply needed links removed, and sharks all around midtown were trying to quote me anywhere for $30-50 for a process that takes a good jeweler mere minutes!! Are was able to propose between 18-25 for the different bracelets, totally fair rates in my opinion….dont forget to offer cash in this case! Return business doesn't hurt either ;)My experience was great here and they'll see me back sooner than later….thanks guys for a efficient and fair business!”
