Watch Repair Questions, Answered

How much does watch repair cost?

Battery replacement starts at $30, band repair or replacement at $45, and crystal or stem-and-crown replacement at $75. A full movement overhaul starts at $195. You see the starting price before you ship.

My watch stopped — is it just the battery?

Usually, yes. A dead battery is the most common reason a quartz watch stops. If a new battery does not bring it back, we contact you before doing any further work.

What is a movement overhaul?

A full service of the movement: disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, replacement of worn parts, reassembly, and regulation. It is the fix for watches that keep stopping, lose time, or show condensation under the crystal.

How long does watch repair take?

Batteries and bands take about 3–5 business days from the day your watch arrives. Crown replacement takes 7–10 and crystal replacement 10–15 business days. Mechanical overhauls take 3–5 weeks depending on make and model.

Is my watch insured during shipping?

Yes. We ship via FedEx and every shipment is fully insured by Lloyd’s of London. At checkout you select a FedEx shipping option (or ship on your own), and we return your watch fully tracked and insured.
