Our response to COVID-19

Hi QJR Family,

We at QJR hope that you and your friends and family are staying safe and healthy during this time. We all know that everyone is continuing to adjust to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we wanted to update you on how QJR is evolving to provide our services with the best safety procedures for you and our team. 

While we are not considered an essential business, we understand that we are often the only provider of watch and jewelry repair services to many people across the country. It is our responsibility to continue being that provider and uphold government health and safety regulations for the good of our team, our workers, and our customers. During this time we have taken measures to ensure that all items are processed in a sanitary manner, and we are taking steps to gradually resume regular operations.

Looking ahead, we are planning to reopen our NYC walk-in facility once we have established an intake and outtake protocol that will ensure the safety of our jewelers and our clientele. We hope to provide the same quality of service while following publicly mandated social distancing procedures and utilizing protective equipment. 

As of right now, our NYC facility is still closed to the public but we are still receiving online orders. Please note that certain services will experience extended delays until we are fully back up and running. For more information, please see the table below.

  1. Are you still processing online orders? Yes, our e-commerce website will continue to remain in operation and we will still be receiving orders during this time. Please note that due to the current situation, all order shipments are experiencing delays. 
  2. Can I still drop off my package at a FedEx box or facility? Yes you can! Just make sure to check if your local FedEx facility is currently open; most of them are still fully operational. For more information on FedEx’s operations during this time, please check out their update here.
  3. I’ve placed an order and sent in my item to your facility, when can I expect to get it back? All orders are delayed for return shipment; our expected turnaround time is 2-3 weeks depending on the service requested. If you have any questions about your order, please contact a representative for more information.
