Service details

Make your ring smaller

Get your ring fitting just right with our mail-in sizing-down service. From wedding bands to class rings, our jewelers assess the metal, construction, stones, and amount of reduction needed before resizing the ring for a secure, comfortable fit.

This service supports half and quarter sizes and a wide range of materials, including gold, platinum, silver, stainless steel, copper, brass, and bronze. Available options and pricing update as you configure the service.

Please complete the form and upload the requested photos when placing your order. If inspection reveals work beyond your selections, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

  1. Choose the smaller size

Enter the ring’s current size, desired size, metal, and construction details.

  2. Upload ring photos

Provide clear top and side views so we can assess the band, stones, finish, and any engraving.

  3. Inspection and confirmation

The jeweler verifies the sizing method after arrival and contacts you before any work outside the selected service.

  4. Resize, finish, and return

The ring is reduced to the approved size, the worked area is finished, and the piece is prepared for tracked return shipping.

How much smaller can you make my ring?

The safe reduction depends on the metal, band construction, stones, and the difference between the current and desired size. Choose the current and target sizes in the form; we will contact you if inspection changes the recommended approach.

Can you size down stainless steel or a class ring?

This service includes several alternative-metal and class-ring options. Select the material and style that best match your ring and upload clear photos so the jeweler can confirm the method.

Will the sizing seam be visible?

The jeweler finishes and polishes the worked area as part of the resizing process. Final appearance depends on the metal, finish, pattern, and existing wear.

★★★★★

“Having had my wedding ring set sized down from a 7.5 to a 6.5, I can say that the work is undetectable. In addition, the jeweler found a tiny area of defect/damage within this intricate vintage-Victorian looking wedding set, so I had that repaired as well. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were superb. I HIGHLY recommend.”

“I am absolutely amazed with Quick Jewelry Repairs. I wanted to get my ring sized down from an 8 to a 4.5. Everywhere I went, they said that was impossible because it was silver and had cubic zirconium. But, I sent it off to QJR because they said they could do it. I was skeptical at first and said if they can’t get it to a 4.5, a 6 or something close would be fine too since I didn’t want the stones to fall out. Within a week I got it back and it was a 4.5 in PERFECT condition. Not a single mark from where they adjusted it. I even had stones going halfway around the band and those were not affected. 10/10 recommend to anybody who needs their jewelry repaired. I didn’t really take good before and after photos, but trust me it was worth it.”

“As a person, who had no experience of having a ring related service via online – it was really difficult at first for me to send my ring to Quick Jewelry Repairs. My original blue sapphire ring which was gifted by my late grandmother's had to go through size down from 11 to 8. Quick Jewelry Repairs assured me that they will take care of everything. Thanks to Annabelle from Quick Jewelry Repairs who made the whole process easy to understand for me. I sent my ring, although it took more days than expected for them to size down my ring, but the Services andwand prices were as good as they mentioned. My ring looks great without any mark or anything like that. Thank you for fixing my ring. I would definitely recommend this anyone out there who is reading my review.”
