Chain Repair Questions, Answered

How much does chain repair cost?

Chain soldering starts at $30 and jump ring repair at $19. Clasp repair or replacement starts at $48, shortening a chain at $44, and lengthening at $60. You see the starting price before you ship.

Will the solder joint be visible?

No. We solder with matching metal, then polish the joint so it blends into the chain.

What if the break is in the clasp, not the chain?

Choose Clasp Repair/Replacement. We repair the existing clasp when possible or replace it with a matching lobster or spring-ring clasp.

How long does chain repair take?

About 5–10 business days from the day your piece arrives, plus shipping time each way. You get tracking updates the whole way.

Is my piece insured during shipping?

Yes. We ship via FedEx and every shipment is fully insured by Lloyd’s of London. At checkout you select a FedEx shipping option (or ship on your own), and we return your piece fully tracked and insured.
